Description
This web service gives users the ability to download a sample of their DNA, which will later be examined by healthcare professionals. When the DNA analysis has been completed, the patient receives a report with personal recommendations and treatment plans.
Role
Our developer has built the application from the ground up. His tasks included the database structure design, the payment processor integration and other components. For the second version of the service, the owner of the startup plans to implement automatic processing of downloaded DNA samples and generation of reports online without the need to involve physicians. Thus, the developer has been working on incorporating the data processing algorithm, which had been provided by data scientists, into the existing application.
